Hi, I am Kadri Tiganik.

I am a photographer and an artist from Tallinn, Estonia.

I got my first camera about 18 years ago from now. Since then I have tried quite a lot of different occupations but photography has always stood beside me. I started with photographing my friends and volunteering at different events and as I realised that this comes somehow very naturally for me, it grew into something more than a side track.

For me aesthetics and observing the beauty of how people are moment by moment enlivens something in me. I love to have deep meaningful conversations when working one on one and silently moving around at the event capturing authentic moments and emotions.

I see photography as an art and as a medium to express myself and also create space for others to express themselves and I think there is something empowering in that. To be able to see oneself as an observer from the outside like watching a still frame from a movie.
